Trivia, Trivia . . .

Share

And just to show that entrepreneurialism can trivialize anything, here comes the football version of Trivial Pursuit.

There’s a certain type of sports fan out there who knows the names of the Rams’ strength trainer and equipment managers. He’s the same guy who knows where Rams assistant coach Bruce Snyder played his high school football. And he’s the guy Don Willson and Terry Rector are looking for.

Willson and Rector are marketing National Football League trivia games based on questions about the Rams, the Raiders, the San Diego Chargers, the San Francisco 49ers, the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys.

Each game has 2,400 NFL trivia questions, 800 of which are devoted to the team named on the game box. Like pennants, jackets and programs, “This game is another great example of how well NFL paraphernalia and memorabilia sell,” Willson and Rector say.

The games are produced and marketed by their Denver-based firm, Sports Games International.

For those of you who need to know, the Rams’ strength trainer is Garrett Giemont; the team’s father-and-son equipment managers are Don and Todd Hewitt, and Bruce Snyder played his prep games at El Monte High School.
