Gunman Takes $78 From Dry Cleaner
An unidentified man walked into a Costa Mesa dry cleaner Tuesday, pulled a revolver from a bundle of shirts he carried, demanded money from an employee and fled with a small amount of cash, police said.
Costa Mesa Police Sgt. Michael Millington said the man, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 160 pounds, in his mid-20s and with red hair and glasses, entered Econo Cleaners in the 1200 block of West Baker Street at 7:25 a.m.
The woman employee was not hurt in the robbery.
Millingham said the bandit fled on foot with $78.
