A bomb exploded in the early morning hours outside Belgium’s main synagogue in the center of Antwerp, causing damage but no injuries, police reported. No one claimed responsibility for the bomb, which was set just outside the main entrance of the building, near the center of the port city’s Jewish district. It was the third bomb attack in Belgium this year, with the assailants unknown in each case. Earlier targets were the offices of a socialist-led trade union in Antwerp and a Masonic lodge in Brussels.
