LONDON —
Church of England negotiator Terry Waite will cut back a two-day hostage conference to one day because of last-minute travel complications, a church spokeswoman said today.
Eve Keatley said the meeting involving three former American hostages and U.S. church representatives discussing the problem of remaining U.S. captives in Lebanon will be held Monday instead of both Sunday and Monday. The meeting will be held at the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Lambeth Palace.
