Local News in Brief : Zone Hearings Planned for 3 Communities
- Share via
Public meetings on proposed changes in zoning regulations for Mission Hills, Panorama City and Sepulveda have been scheduled by city planners for Thursday next week and Dec. 3.
The city is required by state law to bring its zoning into conformity with the generally more restrictive development guidelines provided for in land-use plans approved by Los Angeles City Council. In some cases, city planners have recommended changes in zoning, which must be approved by City Council.
The meeting to explain proposed changes in the Mission Hills-Panorama City-Sepulveda area will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The Dec. 3 meeting, scheduled from 4 to 7 p.m., will be a public hearing on the proposals.
Both meetings will be at James Monroe High School, 9229 Haskell Ave., in Sepulveda.
Information on the changes is available at the Panorama City Library, 14345 Roscoe Blvd.; the Granada Hills Library, 16040 Petit Ave., and the Planning Department’s office, Room 105, Van Nuys City Hall.
