Big or even bigger is not always best or even better.

The new $9-million Meister Commerce Center in Camarillo has targeted tenants who need modest-size facilities.

Located on a 7.2-acre parcel at Flynn Road and Via Pescador, the center contains six free-standing buildings ranging from 21,458 to 27,063 square feet and totaling 137,000 square feet.

Open office layouts in two of the buildings have been built out, providing quicker occupancy. Designed by Santa Ana architect Robert Mitchell Hernandez, the center’s buildings are wrapped on three sides by a black ground-to-parapet glass curtain wall.

All buildings are single story with mezzanine areas for office or other purposes plus 21-foot clear high cube areas for engineering, assembly or light manufacturing.
