Gephardt Panel to Study Presidential Campaign

Associated Press

Rep. Richard A. Gephardt (D-Mo.) moved closer Monday to seeking the 1988 Democratic presidential nomination as he established an exploratory committee to help him test the waters for a possible campaign.
