High Court Rejects Plea to Overturn Bundy’s Stay

LAKE CITY, Fla. —
The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday turned down an appeal to overturn a stay of execution for multiple murderer Theodore R. Bundy. The high court rejected state Atty. Gen. Jim Smith’s emergency request aimed at dissolving a federal appeals court order Tuesday that postponed Bundy’s scheduled execution.
