Share

A federal judge delayed the sentencings of admitted spy Jonathan Jay Pollard and his wife Anne for more than two months, and the government said it was continuing to investigate the case. U.S. District Judge Aubrey E. Robinson Jr. signed an order moving the sentencing date for the Pollards from today to Jan. 27 at the request of both the government and defense attorneys. Pollard, who was a Navy counterterrorism analyst, has acknowledged that he sold American military documents to Israeli agents in exchange for tens of thousands of dollars. The documents pertained to military capabilities of Israel’s enemies in the Middle East.
