Times Editors Offer Forum
Readers will get a chance to turn the tables on journalists by firing questions at three Los Angeles Times editors during a free community forum Dec. 3.
The forum will feature Bob Rawitch, Times editor in charge of suburban coverage throughout Los Angeles County; Julie Wilson, editor for the Southeast and Long Beach suburban sections; and Peter Warren, assistant editor for Southeast and Long Beach.
Editors will discuss local news coverage, Times editorial policies and news gathering operations in the Southeast and Long Beach areas, as well as answering specific questions from the audience.
The forum will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre of Cerritos High School, 12500 E. 183rd St., Cerritos. Readers can make a reservation by calling (213) 972-5782 or 1-800-LA TIMES, Ext. 5782, or they can mail in a coupon that appears on Page 5.
