Share

A storm spread snow across the northern Rockies, and a second was expected to cause flooding in the Pacific Northwest. Wind chills of zero to 15 below were measured in parts of North Dakota, northern Minnesota and northern Maine. The storm in the Rockies spread snow across western Montana, much of Idaho, parts of Washington and Oregon and northern Nevada. In Idaho, it left six inches of snow at Deadwood Reservoir in the central mountains. Another storm off the northern Pacific Coast threatened to spread heavy rain over western Washington, with some flooding expected today.
