Chevrolet and AMC offered incentives again.

Chevrolet, which is one of five General Motors divisions, said it is offering a $300 rebate on all Cavalier models through Jan. 5, and AMC, the fifth-largest auto maker in the U.S., said it was offering rebates or low- or no-interest loans through Jan. 4 on 1986 Renault Alliance and Encore and Jeep Comanche models and 1987 Renault Alliance and GTA models.
