One of three inmates stabbed at the West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville has died, and guards found at least five homemade knives in the maximum security unit where the attack took place, officials said. No motive has been established for the attack, and the unit remains under a lock-down. Since New Year’s Day, when rioters took 16 hostages and killed three inmates, rumors of violence have swept through the facility on other holidays.
