Astronaut Engle Resigns; Headed 2 Shuttle Missions

HOUSTON —
Joe Engle, who commanded two shuttle missions, has resigned from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration and retired from active duty as an Air Force colonel, space agency officials said Tuesday.
