Young buyers are taking over a San Diego development originally thought of as a community for retirees.
A recent survey of new homeowners in Bernardo Heights, Rancho Bernardo, reveals that young buyers--25 to 49 years of age--increased 18% over a buyer survey conducted last year.
The survey showed that 32% of new homeowners are 35 to 49-years old, compared with the October, 1985 survey which showed only 22%. In addition, 8% of new homeowners are 25 to 34-years old.
