A member of Britain’s Rothschild banking family has been linked romantically to Swedish Prime Minister Olof Palme, and Swedish police think this could provide clues to his assassination in Stockholm last Feb. 28, the Boston Herald reported. Quoting unnamed sources, the newspaper said the Swedish government prohibited police from investigating the relationship between Palme and Emma Rothschild, 38, described as an adviser to Palme. Rothschild, on sabbatical from her teaching post at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was unavailable for comment.
