India Police Kill 6 in Muslim Riot

NEW DELHI — Muslims offended by a newspaper article they considered an insult to the Prophet Mohammed rioted in several southern cities today. Six people were shot to death by police who tried to disperse the mobs. The article which triggered the violence was printed below a headline that included the words “Idiot Mohammed.”
