JOAN COLLINS SEEKING DIVORCE

Share

Citing irreconcilable differences, actress Joan Collins on Monday filed for an annulment of her 13-month marriage to Peter Holm.

Attorney Marvin Mitchelson is handling the case for the 53-year-old “Dynasty” star, who, according to documents filed in Superior Court, believes she was misled by Holm at the outset of their marriage.

“I believe in marriage, old-fashioned marriage,” Collins said in a prepared statement read by Mitchelson. “It makes me very sad and regretful that this marriage did not work out at this time in my life.”

Collins has been married three times previously.

Mitchelson said that Collins is seeking an annulment or dissolution, but added, “I don’t want to go into the details of that yet.”

Holm, a successful pop singer in the late ‘60s, became an executive producer of Collins’ miniseries, “Sins” and “Monte Carlo,” following their marriage last November.

Mitchelson, the celebrity divorce attorney, said that it will be up to the court to “restore property,” and that Collins is not yet asking a specific settlement figure.
