Sierra Madre : Police Ratify New Contract
The 17-member Sierra Madre Police Assn. and the city have ratified a two-year contract giving officers a 7.5% salary increase beginning Dec. 21, preceding additional raises of 2.5% next July, 3% in January, 1988, and 4% in July, 1988.
Salaries now range from $1,821 to $2,215 a month.
The Sierra Madre Employees Assn., representing 28 non-managerial workers, received a similar increase.
Council members also raised their own salaries from $150 to $200 a month.
