Norwalk : Senior Center Addition
The City Council awarded a $15,000 contract Monday for architectural services to expand the Senior Citizens Center.
The council chose the Long Beach-based firm of Perez & Associates--over three other companies--because of its proposal to design a prefabricated addition, which would lower construction costs.
The expansion of the center at 13629 San Antonio Drive will add about 3,000 square feet to the 6,500-square-foot building. Construction is to begin in fall, 1987.
