A narcotics investigation by El Cajon police and other agencies led to the seizure Friday of $1.4 million worth of assorted chemicals believed to be used to manufacture methamphetamine at a San Diego residence.

No arrests were made during the 4 a.m. raid in the 19OO block of Altamont Circle, but suspects are being sought, El Cajon police spokeswoman Josann Dunn said.

Agents found 25 gallons of methamphetamine oil, 13 gallons of ether, assorted acids and chemicals used to produce methamphetamine, Dunn said, adding that various guns, weapons and explosives also were found.
