‘Courageous Action’ of Anaya
Thank you for the fair-minded article about New Mexico’s Gov. Anaya and his commuting of the death sentences of five prisoners on the state’s Death Row. I see it as a courageous act against the practice of capital punishment.
At a time when even our highest national leader is in such a mess by his persistent practice with solutions by weapons of death and destruction, it is heartening to know of one individual who has the courage and decency to say no to death done in the name of the state.
