U.S. congressmen will converse via satellite with Soviet lawmakers on such issues as differences between their political systems, a Soviet official confirmed Thursday.

Leonid Zolotorevsky of the government Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting, known as Gosteleradio, said six live satellite conversations are planned between members of the U.S. Congress and the Supreme Soviet, the country's 1,500-seat national legislature.
