RARE GRANT RADIO ROLE

A rare radio appearance by the late Cary Grant will be rebroadcast on the “KNX Drama Hour” tonight at 9 on the station (1070).

Grant is starred in “Mr. Lucky,” which was a radio adaptation for “Screen Directors Playhouse” of the 1943 movie of the same title, starring Grant as a gambling ship owner.

The motion picture was the basis for the subsequent “Mr. Lucky” TV series.
