Mexican Police Seize Drug Caches; 14 Held

MEXICO CITY —
Federal police confiscated 1,575 pounds of marijuana and detained 14 people suspected of narcotics dealing in raids in four northern Mexican cities, according to the Attorney General’s office.
Five vehicles were also seized in the raids, which the office said took place “during the current holiday season.”
It said all of the marijuana seized in Reynosa, Monterrey, Agua Prieta and Nogales is believed to have been bound for the United States.
