MIA Wife

F. de la Punete’s letter (Nov. 16) about the story of MIA wife Anne Hart reads like it was sent from Hanoi. I would hazard a guess that F. de la Punete would have no qualms about a wife and mother pursuing a career to the detriment of her domestic obligations. Is her self-fulfillment more important than being at home to greet her children after school? And, is she not a mercenary seeking “adventures and thrills” when she swings by, late again, to pick up her children at the day-care center?
