Four members of the Israeli-backed South Lebanon Army were killed and six wounded in a land-mine blast in southern Lebanon, army officials said. Shia Muslim militiamen were blamed for the explosion, which occurred one mile north of the Israeli border, military sources in Tel Aviv said. The attack was viewed as a reprisal for Israeli helicopter raids against pro-Iranian guerrillas on Sunday. Lebanese police, meanwhile, said that Israeli helicopters again attacked Shia Muslim strongholds after the land-mine blast.
