Medical Helicopter Crash Kills Crew of 3 and Infant

POLLOCKSVILLE, N.C. — The services of Pitt County Memorial Hospital’s medical helicopter unit were suspended Friday, less than 24 hours after a crash killed three crew members and an infant patient. Officials were investigating the cause of the Thursday night crash in a swampy area about 10 miles south of New Bern.
