Ex-N. M. Official Admits Role in Illegal Drug Sales

ALBUQUERQUE —
Former New Mexico Atty. Gen. Boston Witt, 55, has pleaded guilty to a felony drug charge in which he admitted to setting up a meeting where cocaine was reportedly sold to undercover police officers, authorities said.
U.S. District Judge Juan Burciaga set sentencing for Feb. 20. Witt, who entered his plea Friday and was released on $150,000 bond, faces a maximum sentence of four years in prison.
