Duquesne University and Farleigh-Dickinson University will be allowed to participate in postseason athletic competition this year.
The NCAA Council reversed an earlier ruling and voted to reinstate the schools’ Division I status for the 1986-87 academic year. The universities lost their status for failing to field the required number of men’s and women’s teams last year.
