Israeli warplanes attacked a Palestinian base in the Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border, killing three people and wounding seven in the fourth Israeli air strike in Lebanon in 10 days. Police sources said the attack was against a camp used as a base by a pro-Syrian Palestinian faction headed by Abu Moussa. The group opposes Yasser Arafat’s leadership of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The attack, which police said killed three guerrillas, occurred near the village of Yanta, three miles southwest of the Syrian border and 23 miles west of Damascus.
