Experts Will Show How to Throw a Party

Effortless entertaining will be the theme of Fantasy Food Fare ’87 to be presented Feb. 5 by the Los Angeles Planned Parenthood Guild at the Riviera Country Club, Pacific Palisades. More than 100 party planners, caterers, chefs, cooking teachers and retailers will present party inspirations for occasions from breakfast in bed to black-tie gala.

Floral arrangements will be part of the scenery as guests view unusual cooking demonstrations and enjoy wine tasting from many wineries. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase food, cookware and gift items.

Food Fare ’87 will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets will be $50 for the morning event and $75 for the evening event, which includes a mini-supper and wine tasting. There will be silent auctions at both sessions, and chance tickets will be sold for a pair of round-trip tickets to any city in Europe.
