A drug ring that sold cocaine imported from Colombia at pizza parlors in Washington, D.C., was broken up with a series of arrests in several states, federal agents said. Eleven kilograms of cocaine, valued between $35,000 and $40,000 each, were purchased by an undercover federal agent during the six-month investigation, said Robert O’Leary, a Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman. Authorities said agents began arresting 33 defendants in the Washington area, Texas, California and New York. O’Leary said the drug ring involved Colombian nationals.
