Furor Over Friedman
It is horrifying that Friedman thinks that “sweatshops serve a useful function.” Is exploitation of humanity useful? He also says that “no one person is going to make that much difference.” With that attitude, do you think a Martin Luther King or a Gandhi would have been possible?
