California Amplifier Records $95,000 Profit

California Amplifier Inc., based in Camarillo, announced profits of $95,000 for the third quarter ended Nov. 30, on sales of $1.8 million, compared to a net loss of $574,000 on sales of $4.1 million for the same quarter last year.
For the first nine months of its fiscal year, the company reported a net profit of $209,000, contrasted with a net loss of $1.1 million the year before.
The company said its improved performance is due to major cost reductions and expansion of its military business.
