Frank E. Taylor Jr., vice president and general manager of Nichols Institute Diagnostics, has become the subsidiary’s senior vice president and general manager. Taylor, 33, of San Clemente joined the company in 1982. The diagnostics company manufactures and markets to hospitals and clinics worldwide some of the medical tests devised at the reference laboratories.

The reference laboratories perform complex medical diagnostic tests for doctors nationwide.
