A Peruvian court has indicted 120 people, including seven former top police officers, in a case against a cocaine smuggling ring alleged to have shipped six tons of the drug to the United States annually. Presiding Judge Hugo Principe said in an interview that four former police commanders have been charged with obstruction of justice. Also indicted were three former police generals, he said.
