UC Irvine’s Women Defeat Pacific, 73-62

Natalie Crawford scored 16 points, had 8 rebounds and blocked 4 shots to help lead the UC Irvine women’s basketball team to a 73-62 Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. victory over University of the Pacific in the Bren Center.

Kippie Brown and Zalina Walton each added 14 for the Anteaters (3-2, 7-8), who took an 11-point lead midway through the first half and were never challenged.

Gretchen Meinhardt scored 18 points and Julie Szukalski 13 for Pacific (2-3, 9-5).
