Italian Woman Dies at 106

SAN SEVERINO MARCHE, Italy, —
Maria Tiberi, one of the oldest people in Italy, died Sunday of influenza at the age of 106, her family said. Tiberi, who turned 106 in September, came from a family of farmers in the Marches region northeast of Rome. She had six children before the death of her husband in 1919.
