Sznajder Defeats Leach at Indian Wells, 6-3, 6-4

Freshman Andrew Sznajder of Pepperdine defeated Rick Leach of USC in the final of the Grand Champions Resort Invitational tournament at Indian Wells Sunday, 6-3, 6-4.

In the doubles final, Scott Meyers and Neal Broad of Texas Christian defeated Scott Melville and John Washer of USC, 6-2, 6-3.

Each winner earned a wild-card berth in the Pilot Pen tournament Feb. 16 at Indian Wells.
