Demand for its popular Lazer Tag and World of Teddy Ruxpin helped Fremont, Calif.-based Worlds of Wonder Inc. increase its third-quarter profit 94% from the year earlier period. The successful introduction of Teddy Ruxpin in overseas markets, including the United Kingdom, Italy and Japan, sales of Lazer Tag accessories and the U.S. debut of new products The World of Snoopy, The Talking Mother Goose, the Pamela doll and The Talking Mickey Mouse, also contributed to third-quarter profit, a spokesman said.
