Richard H. Rubin has been named vice president of marketing for MAI Basic Four Inc. He replaces James Christie, who left the company “to pursue other endeavors.”

Rubin joined MAI last fall as director of product marketing. From 1984 to 1986, he served as director of marketing at Zilog Systems Division in Campbell, where he oversaw the marketing of the multi-user UNIX systems produced by the unit.

MAI Basic Four Inc., based in Tustin, produces computer systems for small- and medium-sized companies.
