Three men were arrested and cash and drugs seized in two unrelated narcotics raids in Garden Grove and Brea Tuesday, police reported.
In Garden Grove, police ended a monthlong narcotics investigation when they arrested two men and seized more than a pound of cocaine, two pounds of marijuana and $14,500, Lt. Lou Finkelstein said.
Richard J. Schuerer, 20, and John E. Kelley, 24, were arrested at their home in the 11800 block of Timmy Lane about 7:45 p.m., he said.
In Brea, narcotics investigators at about 11:15 p.m. seized 10 pounds of marijuana, $7,000 and a BMW sedan after an anonymous tipster complained that narcotics were being sold at a local motel, Lt. Jim Winder said.
Jacob Alan Bos, 29, of Fullerton was arrested by undercover officers who went to the motel and observed what appeared to be drug sales activity, Winder said. A search of the motel room revealed the 10 pounds of marijuana, and a search of Bos’ car produced the cash and an additional amount of marijuana, he said.
Police declined to identify the motel because the narcotics investigation is continuing.
