President Reagan will skip a planned weekend trip to the presidential retreat at Camp David, Md., because of a forecast of freezing rain that would make travel by either helicopter or van unsafe, White House spokesman Larry Speakes said today.

This will be the second weekend in a row that weather has interfered with the Reagans’ customary Camp David weekend. On Sunday, because of a snowstorm, they returned to the White House earlier than usual.
