Basking in the critical and commercial success of his “Graceland” LP, Paul Simon is trekking back to Africa--Harare, Zimbabwe--to tape a Valentine’s Day concert for the Showtime pay-cable channel. Among the African musicians set to appear with Simon are Hugh Masekela, Miriam Makeba and the Afrobeat groups Stimela and Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Simon will take his road show to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, where his tour in support of “Graceland” begins. He’ll reach Los Angeles March 4.
