Perot acquired a 16% stake in Jobs’ new firm.

Business Week magazine reported that H. Ross Perot, the Texas billionaire who started Electronic Data Systems, invested $20 million in Next Inc., the company started by Apple Computer co-founder Steven Jobs. Perot also gained a seat on the board of the educational computer company, which was launched 16 months ago with Jobs’ personal investment of $7 million.
