Rebels Promise to Free 10

LONDON —
Leaders of the Somali National Movement, a rebel group, admitted at a news conference here Friday that they are holding 10 French aid workers captured last week in northern Somalia and promised that all would be released unconditionally. They did not, however, say when or where the release would occur.
