Daniel Roger Burschinger has been elected chief of staff at Methodist Hospital of Southern California. Burschinger is a clinical associate professor in orthopedic surgery at USC School of Medicine. Burshinger graduated from Marquette University School of Medicine in Milwaukee. He has worked at the hospital since 1962. Clifford Winchell has been elected vice chairman and John A. Goodno has been elected secretary-treasurer.

Stanley R. Barnes of Claremont, Terry Fitzgerald of Claremont, William Graeber of Upland and Molly Johnson of Claremont have been elected to the LeRoy Boys Home board of directors in La Verne. Barnes served as board president in 1985. He received an undergraduate degree from Pomona College and a graduate degree from Stanford University. Fitzgerald, a former Claremont City Council member, graduated from Smith College in Massachusetts and the University of Virginia School of Law. Graeber graduated from Washington State University and is an insurance broker. Johnson graduated from Rockford University in Illinois. Johnson also serves on the boards of directors of the Metropolitan YMCA and the Los Angeles County Fair. LeRoy Boys Home is a nonprofit residential care and treatment center for boys ages 8 to 18.
