Meese’s Attack on Miranda Rule

It seems to me that every citizen owes it to himself to be vitally concerned that Meese and his accomplices not be allowed to tamper with the Miranda ruling. Meese has made it clear that his action is based on the incredibly naive assumption that if a law officer stops you, you are most certainly guilty of whatever he stopped you for.

Anyone who has ever been arrested in error (e.g.: for a mistaken warrant, or being in the wrong place, no matter how innocently, etc.) gains a profound respect for the fact that in America we are supposed to be guaranteed that we are innocent until proven guilty.
