Shultz to Visit China in March

WASHINGTON —
Secretary of State George P. Shultz will make an official visit to China next month, the State Department announced today.
The department said Shultz will meet top Chinese leaders in Peking and also visit other cities during his March 1-6 visit. He will also make brief stops in South Korea and Japan from March 7-8, the State Department said, “to discuss matters of mutual interest.”
